The name Beautiful Gate originates from Acts 3:2. The apostles Peter and John are asked for a gift by a cripple beggar who is sitting at a gate called beautiful. They reply that they have no silver nor gold to give, yet in Jesus name they extend their right hand to the man who is instantly healed. The man joins Peter and John into the temple to thank and worship God for his healing. This story is a beautiful picture of the body of Christ reaching out to a society in need and the miracle of restoration and healing.

Who we are
Beautiful Gate International is an interdenominational Christian organisation providing support and development to leaders and organisations who are working with children and families at grass roots level. We believe that God has given all people the potential and ability to contribute towards bringing hope. Therefore we facilitate the growth of capacity within local Christian communities who are responding to the needs of children and families. We do this through coaching and mentoring, organisational and resource development and advocacy for children and families.
We are registred as a South African-based Section 21 (not for profit) Company (2005/001467/08).
